This 8YO Mastercraftsman gelding put together four wins a row from July to October.

First up was a nice hurdle win at Hastings in July, followed by a classy effort to win the Grand National Hurdle race at Riccarton in August (both under Shaun Phelan). And then came the hat trick with a win on the flat, getting in by a nose with the right head-bob. 

All this was capped off with a superb win in the Great Northern Hurdles at Te Aroha on 3rd October 2021. 

Tough, talented and enduring The Cossack has 10 wins from 42 starts and a string of placings. Great work and happy owners!
