A mare by Redwood, Just Treasure had put together some good place form before nailing her maiden win. Settling at the tail of the 14-horse field, Shaun pushed her forward on the corner but not looking too likely. That is, until she got to the very outside where she ran home strongly to score by a long head. Impressive. She followed that up with a close-up second, then a sixth and then was back at Te Rapa where again, she got back in a big field, but this time cut the corner and came up the inside to finish with a solid run and win by 2½ lengths. Nice work! And that makes two wins from 16 starts.
