Avondale, 3rd June 2023 - Maiden 2YO 1200m – jockey Warren Kennedy

This 2YO bay or brown gelding by US Navy Flag got his maiden win on debut on a Heavy10 track at Avondale. Trial form was superb with a second placing and a win so expectations were high. This boy delivered with a strong and convincing win. He had to fight, and he never gave up. 

The owners are "all in the family" and they were on course cheering him on. What a wonderful moment. Also for trainers Peter and Dawn Williams who had this boy primed and good to go. 

Owner Virginia is a member of the Auckland Owners Association Committee.
