Rip Van Winkle mare Elle Eye Are got her fourth win in style on a Heavy10 track at Ellerslie. Sitting second to last of the 10-horse field most of the way, she cut the corner, got to the front and stayed there nicely to score by 2 lengths. It was an easy win in the end – she was in charge from the 300m mark and it was one of those races where you can relax a little bit as nothing else was gaining.
